Portraits are taken during the 9th International Drag Queen Olympics in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
The Drag Olympics is the world's premier sporting event for drag queens and kings.
Each year the creme de la creme of the drag sporting world descend on Amsterdam to battle it out for Olympic Gold. Events include the Stiletto Sprint, Handbag Throw and Beach Volleyball.
Organizer and single working mom Jennifer Hopelezz: “Of course the Drag Olympics are more than just a competition of sporting prowess- hair, nails and make-up are just as important. The girls have been frantically training for years and have taken at least a week off from wild partying and boozing to concentrate on the Games.
But beauty, poise and frocks are equally important to sporting ability, as are accessories such as jewelry, shoes and handbags. That's something the judges definitely keep an eye on.
